
Six Aplington-Parkersburg spring sports teams will compete Thursday.
The AP/DNH boys soccer team will play for the first time in a week when they host Denver on 99 The Wave and RadioOnTheGo’s YouTube channel. They’ll look to build on last week’s 3-1 win over GC-GR. Denver will look to bounce back from a 4-0 loss to New Hampton on Tuesday.
The #12 (1A) girls soccer team will travel to #3 (1A) Denver for a conference test. Playing in their sixth game of the season, it’ll be their third ranked opponent. Head Coach Cory Goetsch.
The Falcons have won four straight, including 8-1 over GC-GR last week.
The boys tennis team will look to bounce back from a 6-3 loss to Waverly-Shell Rock when they travel to Columbus Catholic. The Sailors are coming off Tuesday’s 8-1 win over Union.
The boys golf team will look to bounce back from its first loss when it travels to Union. The Knights have also only lost one meet this season.
Rounding out the teams in action, the girls track & field team will compete at the Norsemen Relays at Roland-Story, and the boys will be at the Penick Relays at BCLUW.
