Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford were among 12 schools at Thursday’s 2A State Qualifying Track & Field Meet at Hudson.
Aplington-Parkersburg Boys Automatic Qualifiers

Owen Pruisner – 2nd in 400 hurdles
4×200 – 2nd
4×400 – 2nd
4×800 – 2nd
Senior Sully Janssen is a member of the distance medley, 4×200, 4×400 and 4×800, and describes how he has led the groups throughout the season.

Chloe Paulsen – 1st in 100
Chloe Paulsen – 1st in 200
Mila Syhlman – 1st in high jump
4×400 – 1st
4×200 – 1st
4×100 – 2nd
Also a member of the 4×200 and 4×400, Paulsen qualified in four events.
The state meet will be Thursday, May 21 through Saturday, May 23.
