The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Coulter man over the weekend following a reported assault.
Sheriff Aaron Dodd tells RadioOnTheGo News that deputies responded after receiving a call from a person assisting the victim, who had sustained injuries and was taken to Iowa Specialty Hospital for treatment.
Deputies later located and arrested 45-year-old Joshua M. Rapp on charges of domestic assault–impeding air flow, false imprisonment, obstruction of emergency communications, possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Dodd said deputies also executed a search warrant at Rapp’s residence as part of the investigation.
Rapp is being held in the Hardin County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
