The Iowa Falls City Council Monday will consider setting the date and time for a public hearing on the proposal to enter into grant agreements with the Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce/Main Street and the Iowa Falls Area Development Corporation for fiscal year 2026 through fiscal year 2030.
The council will consider representation on the Hardin County Sanitary Waste Disposal Commission and an appointment of a member to the hotel/motel tax advisory board.
The Iowa Falls City Council will then move from regular agenda items to the administration of the oath of office. Mayor Mike Emerson was reelected to another term during last month’s election and Steven Klein and Gumaro Valencia were elected to the council.
The meeting begins Monday at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.
