
North Butler-Clarksville was third with 87.5 points and West Fork was fourth with 76 points at Thursday’s Top of Iowa Girls Wrestling Tournament at Osage.
North Butler-Clarksville’s Nadelyn Stanbrough was the runner-up at 135. She got two pins before falling in the championship match. Teammate Sydney Lovrien was second at 235. After two byes, she lost by fall in the final. Emma Hovenga was third at 115. Falling in the semifinal, she got consecutive pins to earn the bronze. Kaybrie Lovrien was third at 170, also winning back-to-back consolation matches after falling in the semifinal.
West Fork’s Josi Janssen was second at 140. She got a pin and decision before dropping the final. Jenny Ramirez was the 145 runner-up. She had a decision in the semifinal and fell in the title match. Presli Busch was second at 190, going 1-1 in the semifinal and final. Rounding out podium placers, Autumn Wood was third at 155, winning the third place match after falling in the semifinal.
