
The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board will meet Tuesday, March 10 at the CGD District Office in Clarion for its regular meeting and a hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2027 school calendar.
Board members will hear a presentation on the proposed FY27 calendar before considering approval later in the meeting. A middle school trip presentation by Heather Foster and the superintendent’s report are also on the agenda.
Under old business, the board will consider a resolution supporting a 5 percent increase in State Supplemental Aid for public education.
Financial items include review of the district’s preliminary FY27 budget and proposed maximum tax levy, along with current budget and cash reports.
The board will also review capital improvement projects, an architectural services agreement and a proposed purchase of a new school bus for the 2027 fiscal year.
The district’s first public hearing on the proposed FY27 tax levy is scheduled for March 24 at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
