Wright County Supervisors set agenda for April 6 meeting

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday to address several items, including setting a public hearing for the county’s upcoming budget and reviewing a long-term planning document.

Supervisors are scheduled to set April 27 at 9:15 a.m. as the date and time for a public hearing on the Wright County budget.

The board will also consider approval of a resolution, which pertains to the county’s comprehensive plan.

County Engineer Adam Clemons is expected to provide a secondary roads update, along with presenting the proposed fiscal year 2027 secondary roads budget and five-year program.

The board may enter closed session to discuss a potential real estate transaction and to evaluate the professional competency of an individual, as allowed under Iowa law.

Following the supervisors meeting, the board will convene as drainage trustees to handle routine drainage district business, including claims, work orders and invoices.

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday in the Wright County Courthouse basement boardroom in Clarion.
