Sharar drafted by Arizona Cardinals

Iowa Falls-Alden alum Karson Sharar has officially made it to the NFL. On Saturday, he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round, at overall pick #183.

The former Iowa Hawkeye is a linebacker, and gradually worked his way into a starting role his senior year. He was the team leader with 83 tackles, including 12 for loss and four sacks. He earned Big Ten honorable mention all-conference honors. He also earned the team’s Hustle Award and was a letterwinner.
