Spring conference championship week has concluded, and local champions and other strong performers were featured. On 104.9 KLMJ, North Central Conference track & field champions and their head coaches aired. North Iowa Cedar League track & field champions and head coaches aired on 99 The Wave. Singles and doubles tennis conference champions from Aplington-Parkersburg were featured. Rounding out the programs, Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford girls soccer interviews from Monday’s game aired. Hampton-Dumont-CAL alum and Iowa State Track & Field student-athlete Charlee Morton was featured after appearing at the Jim Basye Relays.
