Republican gubernatorial candidate Randy Feenstra has received the endorsement of Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig in the 2026 governor’s race.
In a statement released by the Feenstra campaign, Naig said Feenstra has consistently supported Iowa agriculture, rural communities and policies aimed at strengthening the farm economy. Naig pointed to Feenstra’s work on issues including crop insurance, the federal farm bill and expanded year-round E15 sales.
Naig also said Feenstra supports lower taxes, business growth and expanded market opportunities for Iowa farmers, adding that he believes Feenstra would continue advocating for rural Iowa priorities as governor.
Feenstra called the endorsement an honor and praised Naig’s work promoting Iowa agriculture and supporting family farms. Feenstra said his campaign is focused on lowering input costs, expanding export markets and strengthening long-term opportunities for Iowa agriculture and rural communities.
