H-D-CAL held its biggest concert of the year, known as the Cavalcade of Bands, in the high school’s new gymnasium Tuesday evening, showcasing music from fifth graders to seniors.
The evening kicked off with “The Star-Spangled Banner,” with each band having a chance to perform separately and together throughout the concert.
H-D-CAL band director Carl Kurth told the Chronicle, after the concert, that the students did a phenomenal job.
“Every group played really well, from top to bottom,” he said. “It was an outstanding evening.”
The following seniors were recognized towards the end of the concert: Jovanny Camarillo, Jake Minardi, Ayleen Rodriguez, Keaton Gunderson, Nick Quasdorf, Ruby Garcia, Trace Brocka, Emmanuel Iddrisu, Aaden Keehn, Kooper Tranel and Andyn White.
