The Aplington-Parkersburg boys golf team won the team title at Tuesday’s East Marshall Invitational. At +24, they won the title by two strokes over the hosts. Grundy Center was third at +27.
Cormick Stegge led the Falcons with a score of 73 (+3) to place fifth overall, including an eagle on par-5 hole 7. Benny Waller and Nate Peters tied for ninth at 76, and Brandon Hartbarger rounded out the scoring at 79.
Judd Jirovsky led the Spartans with a score of 70 (E), tying for second place overall. Jaxon Kiewiet scored 73, Alex Kiewiet scored 81, and Eli Wegmann scored 83.
