The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports aired Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market in Parkersburg and Grundy Center.
The first half of the programs featured local spring sports coaches discussing the early-to-middle portion of their seasons.
The second half of the program on 104.9 KLMJ included members of the Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys and girls soccer teams and West Fork senior Kylin Johnson, who will continue her dance career at the college level. Hampton native Alexa Hoeltermann, a Boston Marathon qualifier, rounded out the program.
On 99 The Wave, the Drake Relays qualifying boys 4×100 teams from Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford were featured. Members of the Aplington-Parkersburg girls soccer team discussed their strong start to the season.
