
The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday morning with an agenda that includes trail funding, bridge weight limits, opioid settlement documents and an economic development workshop.
The board will consider approving an Iowa Department of Transportation federal aid agreement for the Iowa River’s Edge Trail project. Supervisors are also expected to consider a resolution for bridge weight limit postings and an agreement between Hardin County and Martin Marietta Materials Inc.
Other agenda items include authorizing the county attorney to execute additional opioid settlement agreements or documents, approving a memorandum of understanding between Hardin County and the city of Eldora for the fiscal year 2025 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant program, and approving a supplemental agreement for additional services with Snyder & Associates Inc.
The board will also consider a Community Betterment Match Grant application for Premier Carbide Saw & Tool Inc. and acknowledge the Veterans Affairs quarterly report.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the courthouse large conference room in Eldora. A regular drainage meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., followed by a Board of Supervisors and Economic Development workshop at 9:45 a.m.
