The Aplington-Parkersburg boys golf team defeated Hudson 156-168 Thursday at Legend Trail. Benny Waller was the individual champion with a score of 37. Cormick Steege and Brandon Hartbarger each scored 39. Nate Peters and Rylan Ascher finished with 41.
At ARC, the girls golf team defeated the Pirates 225-293. Kaylee Stahl scored 48 for the individual win. Sydni Ridder shot 54, Kaibree Nisius scored 61 and Kasleynn Nisius scored 62.
The boys soccer team tied Hudson 1-1 at home. Max Cummings scored the goal in the second half. The #10 (1A) girls soccer team fell 2-1 at #4 (1A) Hudson. The Pirates scored once in the second half after it was 1-1 at halftime.
The boys track & field team placed fifth with 64 points at the Norsemen Relays at Roland-Story. Top performances:
