The West Fork boys sprint medley relay team set a school record Friday in Greene, continuing a record-setting season for the Warhawks track and field programs.
Blaine Schulz, Brett Behr, Hayden Freyholtz and Rylan Dorenkamp finished in 1:38.15, breaking the previous school record set last season. Three of the four runners were also part of last year’s record-setting relay team.
The boys record is the latest in a series of new marks for West Fork this spring.
On the girls side, Talia Pommrehn broke the school record in the 100-meter dash earlier this season, then later broke her own record. The girls sprint medley relay team of Candence Eddy, Dazie Huff, Evie Hitzhusen and Pommrehn also set a school record this season.
The boys record adds to a spring in which both West Fork programs have continued to raise the standard.
