
The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will hear a presentation from Nextera Energy Resources during its regular meeting Wednesday.
According to the meeting agenda, the presentation will focus on repowering and a battery energy storage facility. Supervisors are also scheduled to discuss a hotel-motel tax update and distribution.
Other agenda items include consideration of a contract with Cost Advisory Services Inc. for fiscal years 2026, 2027 and 2028, and an application from the Eldora Chamber of Commerce to use courthouse grounds.
The board will also consider change-of-status items for the Conservation Department and dispatch. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the large conference room at the Hardin County Courthouse in Eldora.
A regular drainage meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., followed by a Heartland Insurance renewal meeting at 11 a.m.
