
The Butler County Board of Supervisors will consider adopting the county’s fiscal year 2027 budget and certification of taxes during its meeting Tuesday in Allison.
The board will meet at 9 a.m. in the boardroom at the Butler County Courthouse. The agenda includes review and possible approval of a resolution which would adopt the FY27 budget and certify taxes.
Supervisors will also review a resolution regarding Compensation Board recommendations for FY27 and consider a cost-of-living increase for non-elected, non-deputy employees.
Other agenda items include review of an application for a fireworks display in unincorporated areas, consideration of the Secondary Road Department’s fiscal year 2027 Iowa Department of Transportation budget and five-year construction program, and a resolution, which endorses an application to the Iowa DOT’s Immediate Opportunity RISE program.
